2. Description of Services
NUNO Inc provides a suite of fraud prevention and transaction security tools for financial institutions, lenders, title companies, and related organizations:
- Sentinel — Wire instruction fraud detection and analysis
- Arbiter — Real-time transaction authorization via SMS
- Spectra — Behavioral fraud intelligence and anomaly detection
- Archon — Automated compliance documentation and audit reporting
Services are provided on a subscription basis under separate service agreements executed between NUNO Inc and each customer organization.
3. No Guarantee of Fraud Prevention
NUNO Inc platform tools are designed to detect and flag suspicious activity based on known fraud patterns and behavioral signals. However:
- No fraud detection system can guarantee 100% detection of all fraudulent activity
- NUNO Inc does not warrant that use of the platform will prevent all financial losses
- Users remain responsible for final decisions regarding transactions
- NUNO Inc is not liable for losses resulting from fraud that was not detected by the platform
4. User Responsibilities
Users of the NUNO Inc platform agree to:
- Use the platform only for lawful purposes consistent with its intended use
- Not attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or exploit platform functionality
- Act on platform alerts using their own professional judgment
- Maintain the confidentiality of any account credentials
- Notify NUNO Inc promptly of any unauthorized access or security concerns
5. Intellectual Property
All content, platform names, tool names, designs, and technology associated with NUNO Inc are the exclusive intellectual property of NUNO Inc. This includes but is not limited to:
- The NUNO Inc name and brand
- Platform tool names: Sentinel, Arbiter, Spectra, Archon
- All software, algorithms, and detection methodologies
- Website design, copy, and visual elements
Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of any NUNO Inc intellectual property is strictly prohibited.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, NUNO Inc shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the platform or services.
In no event shall NUNO Inc's total liability to any customer exceed the total amount paid by that customer to NUNO Inc in the twelve months preceding the claim.
7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in King County, Washington.
8. Modifications
NUNO Inc reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the platform after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
